Patient Rights
  • Right to receive CARE and to be treated with RESPECT and DIGNITY irrespective of caste, creed and nationality.
  • Right to access your clinical records.
  • Right to strict confidentiality of patients records.
  • Right to maintenance of privacy during examination or any procedure.
  • Right to be honoured for patient's spiritual, psychological and / or cultural needs and requirements.
  • Right to know the name and qualifications of the treating doctor.
  • Right to receive information from your doctor in non-technical language regarding your illness, its likely course, the expected treatment and modifications in treatment plan if indicated, expected results and the plans for discharge from the hospital.
  • Right to get information about various consents to be given before treatment and procedures.
  • Right to get information about estimated costs prior to any treatment & periodically during treatment and to get detailed bill at the time of discharge.
  • Right to get protection against any neglect, abuse and injury.
  • Right to make a complaint about the quality of health service provided without discrimination.
  • Right to make a decision about your care after being advised of risks and possible complications, benefits and alternatives.
  • Right to give consent to refuse medical care or recommended treatment to the extent permitted by law.
  • Right to seek an additional opinion regarding clinical care.
  • Patient Rights include determining what information regarding there care would be provided to self & family.
Patient Responsibilities
  • To provide complete and accurate information about patient's past and present health.
  • To provide complete and accurate personal information including full name, address and other such Information.
  • To ask questions when patient does not understand what the doctor or any other healthcare provider tells about diagnosis or treatment.
  • To Inform doctor if he/she anticipates problems in following prescribed treatment or is considering alternative therapies.
  • To treat hospital staff, other patients and visitors with due courtesy and respect.
  • To respect that some other patient's medical condition may be more urgent than yours and your doctors may need to attend to them first.
  • To abide by all the hospital rules and regulations.
  • To comply with NO TOBACCO/ NO SMOKING policy.
  • To comply with the visitors policies to ensure the rights and comfort of all other patients.
  • To be considerate of noise levels and privacy. 11. Safety weapons are strictly prohibited on the hospital premises.
  • To be on time in case of appointments or to cancel/ reschedule as early as possible in case of cancellation or rescheduling of appointments..
  • Not to give medication prescribed for patients to others.
  • To pay for services billed for, in a timely manner as per the hospital policies.
  • To follow the prescribed treatment plan and carefully comply with the instructions given.
  • To accept the measures taken by the hospital to ensure patient's privacy and confidentiality of medical records.
