Research Activities & Ongoing Research

The Institute actively promotes research and scholarly activities among undergraduate students, postgraduate students and faculty members as an integral component of academic and professional development.

Postgraduate Research: Postgraduate students undertake research projects as part of their academic programme. Research protocols are subjected to scientific review by the Scientific Review Committee and, following scientific approval, are submitted to the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) for ethical review and approval before commencement of the research.

Undergraduate Research: Undergraduate students are encouraged to participate in research activities, including Short-Term Studentship (STS) projects, under the guidance and supervision of faculty members.

Faculty Research: Faculty members actively undertake research in various areas of medical and health sciences and regularly contribute to the scientific literature through research publications, presentations and other scholarly activities. Details of faculty research publications are available in the respective department-wise sections of the Institute website.

To maintain research confidentiality, protect intellectual property and minimise unauthorised reproduction or copying of ongoing research work, detailed protocols, unpublished data and other confidential research documents are not displayed publicly on this page. Information that is appropriate for public disclosure is made available through the relevant departmental sections and institutional channels.
